enables monitoring of all manufacturing data and allows early detection of potential production problems at
a level of unprecedented thoroughness. YieldWatchDog™ therefore significantly improves the productivity
of manufacturing organizations. DR YIELD was founded in 2005.

Management Team

Dieter Rathei
Managing Director
Dr. Rathei has held managerial and engineering positions in the manufacturing
semiconductor industry before he founded DR YIELD software & solutions. He has worked
in semiconductor companies in the United States, Germany, France and Austria and has
contributed to several highly successful fabrication ramp ups. Dr. Rathei holds several
patents in the field of yield optimization and yield control.

Bernd Gruhn
Director Business Development
Mr. Gruhn has worked as R&D director for a speciality semiconductor manufacturer before
founding his own business consulting group in the year 2000. He provides DR YIELD with
his expertise in business development.

Axel Wawrina
Director Software Development
Mr. Wawrina started his career as a test and IT engineer in the semiconductor industry.
Before joining DR YIELD, he was managing the software development division of a large
automotive engineering company.

Otmar Kuehner
Director Customer Relations & Sales
Mr. Kuehner's experience is based on two successful software start-up companies that he
had founded in the past. In recent years, he has worked as a consultant for start-ups
before he joined the management team of DR YIELD in 2008.
