What makes YieldWatchDog different from
existing YMS or SPC solutions?

YMS (Yield Management Systems) are large data warehouses with sophisticated
visualization and data-mining capabilities. They are highly interactive systems
requiring engineering skills to use and exploit their capabilities. But they are not
controlling your data 7 x 24 hours per week, looking themselves for conspicuous
trends or patterns. Wouldn't it be great if you had yield software that
automatically pin-points issues and hence saves your time and resources and
works continuously for you even if no one is sitting in front of a monitor?

SPC (Statistical Process Control) systems on the other hand do not have the
capabilities to handle electrical test data appropriately. Classic SPC rules were
developed for quality assurance purpose of small sample sizes, not for
production control of millions of data points. Classic SPC therefore provides a
